BOHEMIAN STYLE

The modern day boho girl has everything she needs...peace, love and a vibrant spirit! This bohemian style is right on trend and in sync with her mood! It looks sweet and harmonized with the chunky bangles, lovely ruffles and the bold embellished vintage maxi skirt. It catches your eye with the design and color. You will see a lot of long maxi dresses and flowy skirts everywhere this summer. I purchased this gorgeous vintage piece from the Divaxpress meet up over this weekend. I finally got to meet the beautiful owner Talesha Austin, after being Facebook friends and Instagram followers for quite some time now. All of her pieces are handpicked one of a kind vintage items.

 

The seventies are back in a big way and this is a fresh spin on the boho chic look. It's all about finding what trends work for you and making it your own. What I love about this skirt, is that, it is the perfect trans-seasonal piece. I can wear it now with a few different tops and accessories or layered with a cropped leather this fall.

There are so many dressing styles out there to choose from in the world of fashion, just make sure a part of your personality don't get stamped out. When you pick out a style make sure it has your vibe on it. I knew exactly what I wanted to match this skirt with when I saw it. Lol I know my closet well! I have a photographic memory when I shop. If I spot an item, I can remember where or what can complement it, whether if it's in my closet or I saw it at another store. Who can relate?

Speaking of styles, there was a lot to see at the Divaxpress meet up event. It was a room full of diva's looking fly as well! I attended the event with my beautiful model/blogger boo Oneika Bristol on the left, owner of Oneika's Closet. She's standing next to the owner and host of the event Talesha. I also met the gorgeous Shimeka Spurlock owner of Via Blue Mermaid vintage. Check these ladies out on Instagram! We had a divalicious time!!
